Join Our Team as a Weekend Catering Assistant at Llandudno Snowsports Centre!
This is a varied role combining food preparation, café and bar service, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and is confident preparing food.
🍕You'll prepare and serve a range of food including pizzas, paninis, toasties, chips and other café style dishes, as well as serving hot and cold drinks and providing bar service. You'll also take food orders, provide table service and help keep the café and kitchen areas clean, tidy and well stocked.
🍽️What you'll be doing...
-Preparing and cooking simple café style food including pizzas, paninis, toasties and chips
-Serving hot and cold drinks, including barista style coffee (training can be provided)
-Providing bar service
-Taking and processing food orders
-Providing friendly and attentive table service
-Clearing tables and keeping the café and kitchen areas clean and tidy
-Working as part of the wider team to provide a great experience for our customers
✅ What we're looking for...
-Previous cooking or food preparation experience is essential
-A positive, reliable and team focused attitude
-Good customer service and communication skills
-Ability to work confidently in a busy environment
-Must be 18 or over due to the bar element of the role
⏰Working hours...
We're looking for contracted weekend staff, with a range of 8–16 contracted hours per week available.
-Weekend shifts are primarily Saturday and Sunday, with hours generally between 9:30am and 6:30pm, although shift times may flex depending on operational requirements.
-There may also be opportunities for evening shifts during the week (Monday–Friday).

Reception cover including sales, bookings, dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
-Ski technician (issue ski and snowboard equipment)
-Toboggan Operator
-Supervising Sno-Tube sessions
-Some housekeeping cleaning duties, cleaning bins, litter picks, and general maintenance
⭐Be the face of JNL Llandudno Snowsports Centre!
You will be the first point of contact for our customers, so outstanding customer service and a friendly, can-do attitude are essential. Pride in delivering a welcoming, positive experience for every customer.
This is a fast paced, exciting role in outdoor tourism, perfect for someone proactive, enthusiastic. You will enjoy being part of a team and have great communication skills.
⏰Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential, as these are our busiest times. Shift start and finish times will vary to cover opening hours between 9.00am and 10:00pm.
Hourly rate will be between £10.85 and £12.71 depending on age.
Previous experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

John Nike Leisuresport is looking for a full-time Duty Manager to join our team at Llandudno Snowsports Centre.
Our centre is home to the longest toboggan run in Wales, as well as a scenic ski slope offering skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and sno-tubing. We also have our Alpine Café & Restaurant, serving food and drinks and hosting events throughout the year.
This is a varied role for an enthusiastic leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting a team and delivering a great experience for our visitors.
🏂What you'll be doing...
-Leading and supporting the team
-Managing staffing and rotas
-Delivering excellent customer service
-Supervising the safe operation of activities and facilities
-Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues
-Supporting the Centre Manager with daily operations
-Maintaining health & safety standards
-Supporting the Alpine Café & Restaurant
✅What we're looking for...
-Previous supervisory or management experience
-Experience in leisure, hospitality, visitor attractions or outdoor activities
-Confident leading and motivating a team
-Strong communication and organisational skills
-Calm and confident under pressure
-A flexible approach to working hours
Desirable, but not essential:
-Previous skiing, snowboarding or snowsports experience
-Knowledge or experience of running a commercial kitchen
-Current First Aid qualification
